Sunday mornin'

When I let the dog out this morning the daffodils had bloomed. I suppose we should stop pretending that winter is coming and just accept that Spring is here. But I give an emphatic boo to no snow days.

Yeah yeah yeah, flowers. I get it. Nature and beauty bla bla bla. But snow--beautiful frozen, car accident causing snow that causes school to be closed and allows me to sit at home and sleep and watch my seven television channels I get with my $10 Wal-Mart antenna. 

Just bite me, crocuses.

I'm trying to change my life in little ways. I'm trying to get rid of things. I'm trying to eat differently. I am going to try to plan things more and save more money. I am going to try to listen to albums other than Graceland and California.

Back to school tomorrow. No snow days. I'm taking Wednesday off for a doctor's appointment and then Friday is a workday. It's totally manageable.
